Adhesif Clothing Pays Tribute to the Roaring 1920's on Vancouver Eco Fashion Week's Runway

Wow! Can you believe it? It's already been 1 month since Adhesif Clothing was last seen  strutting on the runway of Vancouver Eco Fashion Week's show, now in it's 6th season.

This season was quite special as we had the chance to have a few other Vancouver locals, that we admire, on board collaborating with us.
All delectable foot candy seen in these photo's by Vancouver's own Fluevog Shoes.

Adhesif Clothing plays tribute to the the glamour of the roaring 1920's,
modernized with a twist of punk, courtesy of the upcoming Fall/Winter 2013 collection.  Materials include an opulent selection of up-cycled materials like lace, recycled lambswool& cashmere, vintage tweed & suiting hand crocheted vintage doilies to name a few.

I'm absolutely in love with the Ritzgerald Dress. The simple, stretch shift dress is flattering  on every body type, has pockets, and the vintage crocheted doily collar is so darling! What more could you ask for in a feminine frock?

The 1920's was a decade of decadence.
Art & Fashion was at it's most expressive
while Jazz was heard everywhere
It was an age of redefined womanhood.

This is Adhesif Clothing's first season for pants! Can you believe it? We've done shorts galore but a first for pants and we are very pleased with the outcome.

We've named this design the "Gams & Gladrags"
These high waist, suit pants are figure flattering
on any gal's shape.

Gorgeous leather Obi wrap belts by Bronsino. Available in an array of colors with 4 different styles to choose from at the Adhesif Clothing boutique
(2202 Main Street Vancouver, BC)

Ladies who lunch will love the Mrs. Grundy Dress made from reclaimed suits and a forgiving new stretch cotton/lyrca material on the back and sleeves.

New this season is the addition of menswear! We haven't forgotten about the lads. Now men can look dashing in pieces like the Dag Daddy Blazer.
Like the ladies' collection, the men's line is polished, yet edgy.
Wear the pieces casually with jeans or kick it up a notch with some slick suit pants."

We would also like to thank Circle Craft for being our sponsor for the 6th season of Eco Fashion Week!

Adhesif Clothing has participated at Circle Craft's Christmas market for the last 8 years now so it was an extreme honor to be represented by such an authentic artisan organization.

Circle Craft Co-operative is a unique BC Artist Cooperative dedicated to providing opportunities for craftspeople to connect with the community.

Formed in 1972, Circle Craft has grown to become a major force in the marketing and promotion of quality craft, utilizing a ‘direct from the artist’ approach. For more info on Circle Craft and related events please visit http://circlecraft.net/
